Unit 2 LO1: Define and modify creative enterprise ideas through practical research and development. (1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8)
L2.1 task A - Logo Design Brief
I wanted to have a camera and a tripod in my logo to show what I do. I created this in Adobe Illustrator. To do this I used the pen tool to create a tripod and then traced an existing photo of a video camera also using the pen tool and placed eclipses over the buttons. The text I used was font Cooper Std. Finally I used a yellow eclipse under the whole logo to give a circular background.

L2.1 task B - Advertising campaign brief:
Unit 2.1 Task B
My advert's target audience is Essex business owners who would be looking to have a promotioal video done. I am planning to place my advert on social media, specifically local Facebook groups at first, for free, with a view to advertise in magazines eventually once I have the Showreel to back my work up. I have been quoted £70 for a quarter page advert in a magazine with a total combined distribution of 30,000 households.

L2.1 task C - Case study:
Colchester market is a collection of over 20 small market stalls, operating in the centre of Colchester every Friday & Saturday at Culver Street and the High Street. My case study proposal is to plan, produce, edit and promote a promotional video at Colchester market working with the individual stalls to create a 2-4 minute promotional video which covers briefly every stall. The plan is to get people to shop local and those who have not visited the market before, to make them aware of the market on their doorstep, filming taking place over 5 weeks.

Colchester market Case study:
Research:

A creative brief is an in depth project plan that keeps all information in one place.
Here are some examples:
The target audience section is good because it mentions a 'casual' diner which right away gives you an idea of the target audience.
The project and category section could be improved by adding where and when and how.
The project description is in very good detail mentioning statistics to back their argument up.
It is missing how this is going to work and how long it will take.

L2.3 Task C - Autumn Collaborative Mini-Project:
Unit 2.3 - Task B
In the Autumn term I was tasked with creating a project that would extend the development of some previous work, in this case my logo.
The only issue is I did not know an Animator personally, however my tutor knew a student who could animate so he introduced me;
However this student never responded. Looking back I should have tried to contact him directly or ask him in person however with the lockdown this was not always possible. Looking back I should have chose a better project to work on that I knew I could complete no matter what.
